About

It is my parents’ fault that I love to travel!  Ever since I can remember we traveled here and there across the country by car.

From 1983 to 1998, as an adult boy and girl scout leader I played a role in developing young adults in their troop travel plans.   With this group experience, God led me to become trained as a Cruise Specialist with Premier Travel on July 13, 1996.

I served as a travel agent with Premier from 1996 until 1998.  In May of 1998 I became a travel agent with Colony Crossings Travel, an agency in Tampa, Florida.  For two years I worked there until May 2000 when I met the owner of Cruisewiz Travel while on a Carnival Familiarization trip in Miami.  I was excited about being with a local agency in the Cleveland area.

During my three years with Cruisewiz education was my focus.  I became a Certified Travel Agent with the Institute of Certified Travel Agents in 2001.  I also earned the rank of Accredited Cruise Counsellor with the Cruise Lines International Association in March 2003.

For one year God directed me to continue my travel agent role with Travel Planners from March 2003 until March 2004.  During that year the rank of Master Cruise Counsellor with the Cruise Lines International Association on February 2004 was received.

With much consideration and prayer, Juel’s Travel and Cruises opened on March 21, 2004.  The agency had between three and five travel agents assisting travelers.  A biannual newsletter was issued by the company as a source of information for it’s clients.

On June 23, 2004 I was honored to take on the role of an Outside Sales Support Network Chapter Director for independent travel agents in the Cleveland area.

In 2007 God made it clear that my time in the travel industry had to cease.  It was hard leaving something that I loved, but it had to be.  God needed me else where.

From 2007 until September 2014 God placed me in various forms of service that have nothing to do with travel.  However, my husband and I continued to travel personally and included others with us.  All during those years, I kept saying, “I wish I knew that when I was a travel agent” or “I wish had use of this new technology as a travel agent.”  God blessed my husband and I by allowing us to complete our 50-state quest in August 2014.  What an adventure that was to see all 50 states in our lifetime!

Because of an Alaskan group cruise and a Disney group cruise shared with others in 2014, God made it clear that He wanted me back in the travel industry as a travel agent with Viviano’s Cruises and Tours.  I had thought I was totally out of the industry, but the years away were actually a training ground to come back renewed and with Him as my source of guidance.

Thank you God for this second chance to serve others as you make their travel dreams come true!

As of February 27, 2020 God made it clear that my days as a travel agent were done!  It is time to go in a different direction that He has planned for me.  This website will remain so travelers can use the tools here to make their own travel dreams come true.  As of September 30, 2020 I will no longer be in the business of travel.  However, new posts will be made for future trips and other new travel information. This has been a wonderful experience that God has used and will continue to use for His divine purpose.
